End-User Terms

LAST UPDATED · July 1, 2026

Terms for individuals who access Docen through an organization that uses the Service.

Who these terms are for

These End-User Terms apply when you access Docen through an organization — such as your employer or a product built on Docen — rather than through your own account. The organization ("Customer") is responsible for its use of the Service and for the documents it submits.

Your relationship with the Customer

Your access is provided by the Customer and governed by the Customer's own policies and its agreement with Docen. If those policies conflict with these terms for your use, the Customer's agreement with Docen controls the relationship between Docen and the Customer.

Acceptable use

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

  • Submit content you are not authorized to process.
  • Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others.
  • Interfere with the operation, integrity, or security of the Service.
  • Attempt to extract or reverse the underlying models.

Content and outputs

Rights in the documents you submit and the outputs generated from them are handled as described in the data use policy and the Customer's agreement with Docen. Outputs are probabilistic and should be reviewed before you rely on them.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The Service is made available to you "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Docen disclaims all warranties and will not be liable to you for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time and will revise the date above. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
